Team Bath Racing is delighted to have been chosen to display one of our previous cars at the IMechE HQ at Birdcage Walk in London. As part of a refurbishment, the IMechE are looking to display how they support young engineers and show how impressive the results are. Formula Student is a prime example of this and as a tribute to their work a TBR car is to be suspended in spectacular fashion above the staircase in entrace to the premises.

The car that has been chosen to be displayed is TBR08, our 2008 entry to Formula Student. This is a fitting tribute to a team that finished 4th overall and as the top UK team. In order to bring the car back to its former glory, TBR11, with the help of a number of 1st and 2nd year students, are currently carrying out a complete rebuild.

This homage for Formula Student in the UK will be opened around mid December this year. Please drop in to Birdcage Walk to view a part of the University of Bath’s exciting history!
