Tbr11 is finalising the in house dynamometer set up for engine testing and development work. Having purchased a complete engine with ancillaries in September, the engine has been installed and is being modified for testing with the required instrumentation.

The dyno facilities will be used for validation and development of optimisation work previously carried out using 1-D engine modelling software, and to test different power train concepts and modifications. Development work will include optimisation of cam timing and intake geometry, and will help us to deliver a reliable and thoroughly tested powertrain package for the summer events.
