The 2014 car from Team Bath Racing is the culmination of over 16 months of hard work, with huge amounts of knowledge transfer from previous years, coupled with extensive testing and design evaluations. With a 0-60 time of under 3 seconds, TBR14 is the fastest car that Team Bath Racing has produced to date.
The carbon fibre and aluminium honeycomb chassis is one of the biggest improvements of the car from previous years, with a brand new design for 2014, made possible by Cytec, Trelleborg, Corex Honeycomb, Delcam and Crosby Composites, giving Team Bath Racing the lightest chassis to date.
As well as an advanced Carbon Fibre chassis, another major improvement for the TBR14 Car is the new cooling system. This years system features a brand new heat exchanger, thanks to AH Fabrications, which will hopefully bring increased levels of reliability to the team and a high number of points during the endurance events.
Another noticeable change for 2014 is the increased amount of aerodynamics used on the car, most notably in the larger front and rear wings. More design effort has been concentrated in 2014 on the wings than in previous years, giving TBR14 increased levels of grip compared to last year.
We are also very thankful to Cosworth for providing us with a state-of-the-art dashboard and ECU for yet another year, capable of handling all our electrical demands.
